That Zobrist story is brutal. I, uh…have been religious probably most of my life but I just realized right around 2020 I couldn’t keep carrying water for people exactly like that guy. I realized the association is actually voluntary and I can’t be associated with people like that. And uh; if you’ll give me a minute to tie this to baseball I’ll come up with something.
I'm the last person who can judge someone for going on an off-baseball tangent, as pretty much half my writing consists of doing just that.
I generally don't like talking religion, at least not in an online setting where it usually devolves into angry name-calling. Not saying that would happen with you, Tre, just in general. I will say this though. Whatever you believe, there are always going to be people in your group who suck. No one has to like that fact, but you're probably a lot better off realizing it's true and there isn't much you can do about it, as you seem to have done. Whether that means you disassociate with the group or simply focus on what you can control and stop trying to make excuses for them is up to the individual. Thus concludes my little soapbox speech. Thanks for reading.
I love you, too! Metaphoric Seattle is pretty great; do you want me to start calling you Big Unit? ;)
I think that might be weird at this point.
Chaucer? You barely even knew her.

Ha yup. Thanks for letting me wander afield on your page and thanks for the words of wisdom!
Second time around is good Patrick.
Got to see the Big Unit strike out 19 in Seattle King dome in August, 1997 with my baseball buddies. Randy was a handful when he was on the bump.
